Shutdown/Reboot config

From RemoteLauncher
Jump to: navigation, search

The configuration file below shows examples of how to shutdown or reboot your Linux computer.

Copy and paste into the settings editor in the Remote Launcher Server: Edit -> Configure launchers. If you are using Remote Launcher in text mode only then you instead open the config file directly in a text editor. The location of the config file is /home/<username>/.remotelauncherserver.

To use the shutdown command in Linux you have to start the Remote Launcher Server using sudo or as root. Alternatively make sure the user starting Remote Launcher Server has sufficient rights to execute the shutdown command. You can also setup sudo to not ask for a password for a specific command as described here
